I worked in various restaurants as a hostess or server in my teens and twenties, but the real story comes after college. After I graduated, I was working through a temp agency while searching for my career path. They placed me at a dealer, Tennessee Restaurant Equipment Sales, for a 2-week stint to answer the phone. It’s now been 24 years and I’m still in the industry.
I like building relationships, solving problems, being a resource for others and that every day is a new challenge. I genuinely enjoy Monday mornings.
That’s a tough one for me because I like so many things. For the beverage, I basically go from coffee to water to red wine. I gravitate towards spicy foods . . . all types.
Several people have told me they see me as the heart of PMR. It’s nice to hear that some people view me in that light.
My academic background is in Prehistoric Archaeology, so I’d love to go back 100,000 years to the time of the Neanderthals.
